time of the year again!
The crunchy leaves, the crisp air, the warm colors painted across the horizon remind us of how beautiful our photographs will look. We just absolutely love what November brings! That’s why we are thrilled to…
We’re sure you have 101 questions to ask us, and we want to know what you like and envision. We can talk about all this at our studio, or by phone. We’ll discuss the best spot & outfit that portray your (family’s) unique personality.
The best photos are the most natural and genuine ones. This session won’t be stiff, stressful, or awkward. Just you (and your family), doing what you love to do. Simple as that. It’s like a documentary, no script or acting required.
After two weeks of your session, it’s time to see you again to view the photos at our studio. We’ll help you sort through the images and make final decisions on what will look best with your decor. Our handcrafted products create the perfect photographic art that’s specifically designed for your space.
You may choose between one 16×20” mounted print and one matching digital file (printable to 8×10) or two 8×10” mounted prints and two matching digital files (printable to 8×10). Other specialty products are available via our fully customized photography collection based on what you want.
When’s the last time you held a printed photograph? Or hung it up in a frame? Photographs enable us to go back in time and relive moments that have passed. Printing truly makes an image come to life. At PSK, our goal is to provide you with portrait arts for your home which embrace the essence of who you are through a combination of your aesthetic style and our artistic vision. We offer a full line of beautiful products with a lifetime guarantee to ensure that your story will be preserved. We will send you home with amazing wall arts, handcrafted albums, and digital images to treasure for years to come.
We believe your photos should be preserved in the best way possible. Therefore, we choose to print on Hahnemühle Paper because of their brilliant colors, luscious texture, and the extremely substantial paper thickness. It’s simply incomparable to other types of paper! The print lab we partner with has been in business for over 425 years! You can’t go wrong.
Your prints will also be cured with special inks, which can help preserve color pigmentation ranging from 108 – 200 years! After your images are printed, the inks will be cured for a minimum of 24 hours.
After this, there is a Hahnemühle’s Protective Spray, to protect your photos from dirt, fingerprints, moisture and UV rays. It’s transparent and won’t alter the color, or add glare to your print. This too, will take 24 hours.
Once your prints are hand trimmed, it’s prepared to deliver to you. A lot of craftsmanship and diligence goes into each and every one of these prints. They take time, and certainly worth the wait!
A brand named Sintra, is the standard PVC foam board we use for our print mounting. It’s 3mm thick, closed-cell, that is rigid, durable and solid. Yet, it’s very light! It’s acid-free and has minimal out gassing.
We implement a secure way to adhere your fine art print to the PVC board by using a double sided archival mounting adhesive. (Yes, it’s also acid-free).
These materials were selected carefully after intensive research because they match the high level printing we deliver. Because our prints are cotton based, they must be able to be substantial and last over a long period of time.
There’s also the choice of white or black PVC board, so the mounting can flawlessly match the overall tone of your fine art print.
